We work collaboratively with you to clarify your goals and create a personalized, results‑driven treatment plan. Our licensed therapists use evidence‑based approaches—including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, Person-Centered, Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Solution‑Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT)—to offer practical tools that fit your unique needs and lived experiences.
Our mission is to help you build the skills, insight, and confidence needed to navigate challenges and create meaningful, lasting change. Throughout your counseling journey, you’ll receive compassionate support, clear guidance, and an empowering space to grow. Together, we’ll move toward the life you want with intention and purpose.

Substance Use Counseling
We provide compassionate, evidence‑based substance use counseling for individuals seeking to break free from unhealthy patterns and rebuild a healthier, more empowered life. Our clinicians use proven therapeutic approaches—including Motivational Interviewing (MI) and other strengths‑based interventions—to help you explore your relationship with substances, understand the underlying factors driving misuse, and create sustainable change.
In our non‑judgmental and confidential environment, you’ll have space to examine the emotional, behavioral, and environmental roots of addiction while learning practical coping strategies that support long‑term recovery. Every treatment plan is personalized, ensuring you receive the guidance, structure, and encouragement needed at each stage of your healing journey. We walk alongside you with respect, clarity, and unwavering support as you move toward lasting recovery and renewed well‑being.

Counseling for Men
We offer a dedicated space for men to explore their experiences, clarify their goals, and develop a personalized, results‑driven plan for growth.
Men often carry unique pressures around identity, relationships, emotional expression, and expectations of strength or self‑reliance. Our work together focuses on building insight, resilience, and confidence while supporting you in navigating stress, anxiety, burnout, substance use, or life transitions. Throughout the counseling process, you’ll receive compassionate guidance, culturally aware support, and a grounded environment where you can speak openly and without judgment.
Our goal is to help you create meaningful, sustainable change and move toward a life that feels more connected, intentional, and authentic.

Affirming & Inclusive Counseling
We offer an affirming space for all, including BIPOC and LGBTQ+ individuals. Our approach centers your identity, values, and lived realities, integrating therapies to support your emotional well‑being and resilience.
BIPOC and LGBTQ+ individuals often navigate unique challenges—including identity development, coming‑out experiences, relationship dynamics, family or cultural pressures, minority stress, discrimination, and the emotional impact of living in environments that may not always feel safe or supportive. Together, we focus on building insight, resilience, and confidence while supporting you through concerns such as anxiety, depression, burnout, substance use, religious trauma, or major life transitions.
Our goal is to help you cultivate meaningful, sustainable change and move toward a life that feels more authentic, grounded, and aligned with who you are.

Adolescent Counseling
We partner with teens and their families to understand the emotions, stressors, and relationship dynamics influencing behavior at home, in school, and within peer groups. Our adolescent counseling uses developmentally appropriate, evidence‑based approaches to help teens reduce harmful patterns, strengthen emotional regulation, and build healthy coping skills they can rely on in real‑world situations.
Our services are designed specifically for teens 15 and up. Our counseling services create a supportive space where adolescents can explore their experiences, develop confidence, and build resilience. We are committed to helping each teen grow into a healthier, more empowered version of themselves.

Career Counseling
We provide personalized career counseling to help you gain clarity, confidence, and direction in your professional life. Whether you’re exploring new career paths, navigating workplace challenges, or preparing for a major transition, our approach blends evidence‑based strategies with practical, strengths‑focused guidance. Together, we identify your goals, values, and skills, then develop a clear plan to help you move forward with purpose.
Our career counseling services support individuals seeking greater fulfillment, improved work–life balance, or a more aligned professional identity. You’ll receive structured support in areas such as career exploration, resume development, interview preparation, and decision‑making. Throughout the process, we offer a collaborative, non‑judgmental space where you can explore possibilities, overcome barriers, and build the confidence needed to pursue meaningful, sustainable career growth.
Good Faith Estimate
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.
You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are you board-certified?
Yes. Dr. José González-Soto is board-certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) and certified as an Advanced Practice Addiction Registered Nurse (CARN-AP). He is also a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC).
What are your service fees?
$250 per 60 minute – Initial Psychiatric & Mental Health Evaluation
$150 per 30 minute Integrated Medication Management with Counseling Session
$100 per 20 minute Medication Management Session
We provide superbills after each session, which you can submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement if your plan includes this benefit.
What is your cancellation policy?
Our office requires a 48-hour notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. If this notice is not given, you have not made reasonable attempts to communicate with us in the case of an emergency, or you do not show for an appointment, our billing department will charge a $95 No-Show/Late Cancellation Fee.
What is a Psychiatric & Mental Health Evaluation?
Your first appointment is designed to be a thoughtful and collaborative exploration of your experiences. Together, we will:
- Discuss your current symptoms and how they may be affecting your goals, relationships, and daily life.
- Trace a timeline of your life, identifying meaningful turning points—both positive and challenging—that can shed light on your mental health journey.
- Clarify your story and aspirations, so I can understand who you were, who you are today, and who you hope to become.
Depending on your needs, I may recommend additional steps such as completing rating scales or lab work to ensure we have a full picture of your health. We will also review consent forms so that your care team—therapists, doctors, or family members—can be included in a way that supports you.
Medication is never a requirement. Instead, I will present several evidence-based treatment options, guiding you through the risks and benefits of each. Once you feel confident and comfortable with our plan, we will begin working toward your goals right away.
What services do you offer in each state?
In Florida and New York, I provide Virtual/Hybrid Psychiatry and Counseling Services. This includes psychiatric medication management via telepsychiatry as well as therapeutic counseling via teletherapy, in compliance with state licensing requirements.
In Person appointments may be available, reach out for questions.
Do you take Insurance?
Currently, we are In-Network with Aetna, United Behavioral Health / Optum, Oscar and AvMed. We are In-network with Cigna/Evernorth and Carelon through Headway and Alma.
Depending on your current health insurance provider or employee benefit plan, it is possible for services to be covered in full or in part. Please contact your insurance provider to verify how your plan compensates you for out of network psychiatric and counseling services.
I’d recommend asking these questions to your insurance provider to help determine your benefits:
- Does my health insurance plan include mental health benefits?
- Do I have a deductible? If so, what is it and have I met it yet?
- Does my plan limit how many sessions per calendar year I can have? If so, what is the limit?
- Do I need written approval from my primary care physician in order for services to be covered?
As we grow, insurance providers may change over time, so we recommend checking with our office or your insurance provider to confirm coverage before your appointment.
Do you prescribe medication, psychiatric evaluations or consultations?
“ReIntegrate Mental Health & Counseling, PLLC” offers mental health services like, counseling, psychiatric medication management, psychiatric evaluations, and substance use recovery counseling.
